Hello Summer {Gossamer Blue Inspiration Blog Hop}

Hello, and welcome to another edition of the Gossamer Blue Inspiration Blog Hop! Have you noticed that in the world of kit clubs it's always go, go, go and often before you've even received your kit in the mail there are is already buzz about the next kit? It can be frustrating. We at Gossamer Blue want you to know that we feel your pain and are here with some August inspiration for those of you who are currently knee-deep into this month's kits!

Today I am actually sharing my Main Kit only layout.

When I began this layout, I had no intention of using the three colors in the way that I did.  However after arranging my photos numerous ways, I found I liked that I could create four mini monochromatic sections and that there were embellishments and patterned paper that would match nearly perfectly!  Red, aqua, and yellow are some of my favorite colors to use on layouts, so this happy little collection of color makes me smile every time I look at it!  I love how you can home something completely different envisioned for a layout that what it ultimately looks like!

Summer on Two Wheels {Gossamer Blue}

Happy Friday!!  I hope everyone had a nice week! Today I have another Gossamer Blue August layout to share! My daughter learned to ride her bike without training wheels this summer, and we've been biking everywhere! I wanted to create a layout sharing this cute photo of her biking on the trail through the prairie!  This month's kits included not one, but TWO bike die elements!!  I decide to use the cute Crate Paper bike sticker from the August Main kit. 

I love how this layout has such soft colors to it.  My other layouts are all pretty bright - the softness is a nice change! Have a great weekend!! :)

My 3 {Gossamer Blue August}

August First?!  How is this possible?? This means a brand new month of kits at Gossamer Blue. My favorite kits are always the ones with fun, bright colors, and this one is up there amongst my favorites!!  Today I have a layout to share that I made that features the Simple Stories frames in the Main Add-on Kit (sadly, now sold out). I didn't intend on creating a rainbow initially, but as I moved the frames around my page looking for the perfect organization, I realized that I had just enough of each single colored frame to make a rainbow...and we all know how much I love rainbows! ;)

 

I included lots of matching bits and pieces from the various kits to enhance my rainbow.
