You {Fancy Pants Social Media Team}

Two posts in two days? It's like a blogging miracle! ;)  Today I have a Fancy Pants layout made as a part of my role on the Fancy Pants Social Media Team. This layout features one of their new spring releases "Flutter." This line is outwardly pretty girly, but it's got some fabulous colors that can easily be used on masculine layouts as well!  This particular layout features some boarders from the Insta-Pack. I also had to add some of my favorite cork stars to the mix!

This layout is a little crazy and outside of the box, but I love it - especially my sweet little guy in the frame!  It just goes to show that often times you can take bits and and pieces of different lines and make them work in situations you might not ordinarily use them for!  Have a great Tuesday!!

So Lucky {October Afternoon}

Hello, hello to anybody out there who still reads this blog!! ;)  I have a layout to share that was up on the October Afternoon blog last week! The theme last week was Green and/or Lucky. This layout was based on a sketch by the fabulous Laura Craigie! Here is my take on it:

I LOVE this Daily Flash collection - and I tried to make a title out of patterned paper, but it just needed to be black! ;) This layout is all about one of my favorite stories...about my big(ish) family and a kind older gentleman...

Gossamer Blue Inspiration Blog Hop!

Hello, and welcome to another edition of the Gossamer Blue Inspiration Blog Hop! Have you noticed that in the world of kit clubs it's always go, go, go and often before you've even received your kit in the mail there are is already buzz about the next kit? It can be frustrating. We at Gossamer Blue want you to know that we feel your pain and are here with some March inspiration for those of you who are currently knee-deep into this month's kit! Today, I have a layout to share that I created using a mix of the main scrapbooking kit and the scrapbooking add-ons:

I love, love, love that wood veneer hearts from Pinkfresh Studio and knew immediately I wanted to use it on a layout Although I've never been the biggest fan of pink, it works so well with all the black and white in this kit! It all worked perfectly to showcase this photo of of my sweet daughter at her first Father Daughter Dance.

Pancake Love {October Afternoon}

Apparently today is National Pancake Day. Who knew!? I think today is the PERFECT day to share my latest October Afternoon layout, which was featured on their blog last week. It's all about...you guessed it...pancakes!  This layout was actually created for a sketch challenge, but of course, it looks nothing like the original sketch...because my layouts never look like the original sketch!!!  It is kind of crazy - both Mou (who I shared the post with) and I used the exact same color scheme and products for our layouts!!  Check them out!

Queen Fivelia {Gossamer Blue March}

Good morning!  I can't believe it's already MARCH?!  I am not going to lie...I'm looking forward to spring's arrival and warmer weather, but I am not a fan of how quickly this year is flying by!  Today I have my Gossamer Blue March Main Kit Only layout to share! I took these photos of my daughter last year on her 5th birthday. She was SO proud of the crown she got at school.  Her outfit is hysterical...and I hope someday she looks back on it and laughs with me and doesn't just want to destroy the photos, ha!

This month's kit is filled with soft, pretty colors and lots of fun embellishments!  I am totally in love with that acrylic alphabet!!  SO cute!  Hope you all had a great weekend!!
