justem: little bits of this and that

Hello Awesome!

I have my very first layout up on the Pebbles Blog today! I got to play with the Sunnyside line, which is filled with all kinds of fun, bright colors that are right up my alley!  I took these photos a few weeks ago at the end of our summer vacation. There were actually a bunch more that I didn't include! I wanted to include as many as possible, so I printed them out two 4x6's with four photos on each. This is kind of a self-lift of my "Pinterest Made Me" layout from a couple months ago!  My next assignment is with the brand new Walnut Grove line. I can't wait for my box of goodies to arrive!!

Looking ahead...

I got my October Gossamer Blue kit in the mail today.  I kid you not, I gasped out loud numerous times as I looked through it all.  It's gorgeous. If you haven't signed up yet...do it!! ;)  Here is a sneak peek from the GB website. Meet Lewis

I'm slowly making my way through the five layouts I created this month for Gossamer Blue.  This one is one of my favorites, but honestly...they are ALL one of my favorites! I'm slightly worried that my work is only going to go downhill from here, because I love everything I created this month so much!!!  This is my adorable little nephew!!  

When I first began this layout, I had intended on using the backside of the floral My Mind's Eye paper, which has a navy and white stripe, similar to his outfit, but at the last minute I switched it to the floral side...a decision I am quite happy with!  Who says you can't have flowers on a boy layout?!

I think my favorite item in the whole kit was the yellow striped washi tape. I think I used it on every layout!!

Good Morning! Happy Monday and Happy Labor Day to my American readers!  Today I have another layout to share. This was made with the Gossamer Blue September kit and also is a part of the September gallery at write.click.scrapbook, where our monthly theme is "Looking Back."  I've had this 5x7 photo printed and ready to use for a long time...like years...but I just never was sure exactly how I wanted to scrap it.  When I first took it, it was just a snapshot of an ordinary afternoon, but when you consider all that has changed since I captured this moment, the photo takes on somewhat of a new meaning.  We have another child, my daughter is two years older, and we lost our beloved dog to cancer.  While it's still just an ordinary snapshot, there is so much nostalgia...and that is what I hoped to convey with this layout.

Welcome September!!

Today is the first day of my favorite month! :)  I love September for many reasons: fall, football, my birthday! :)  This month also marks my first month on the design teams at Pebbles and Gosasmer Blue! I have been busy creating and can finally share some of my work with you!!!  First up today is a layout I created with my Gossamer Blue September Kit, which is now available. I can't tell you enough how awesome this kit is. I couldn't believe all the goodness when I first opened my package!!  I was lucky enough to work with the main kit and all the add-ons, so you will notice bits of all of them in this layout.  This was the first project I made and one of my favorites this month!  You know I'm a sucker for anything with rainbows!!

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend. We are off to cheer on our team in our first football game of the season. Can't wait!! :)
