Today is the 9th, which means....Midnight Rooster reveal!! Due to my lack of creative energy the last month, I am sorry to tell you that these are NOT my favorite layouts. ;) I was a little disappointed in myself, only because this is a fabulous kit filled with all kinds of great product...and instead of making something equally fabulous, I just basically sat and stared and pushed around the paper for a couple hours...and finally made these:
This was the first layout I made, and it's probably my favorite. It's a scraplift of a combination of two of my previous layouts here and here. I suppose it's kind of weird to put a photo of something you peed on in a layout...but I love this photo because Miri kept trying to grab the test out of the photo! And if you look closely, the date I discovered I was pregnant is the date that is on the calendar...although you can't actually see the date because the aforementioned hand! :)
This photo was taken on our Atlanta trip at Thanksgiving. I was super emotional the last month thinking abouty our family dynamic and how much it was going to change. I loved every moment we had together as a family of three, and I wanted to celebrate that in this layout.
These photos crack me up! I tried to take some Christmas photos of Miri back in Novemeber and these were the result. I seriously can't believe that I can have the world's cutest kid and these are the photos I get?? ;) Even though they weren't good enough to make the Christmas card, I figured they were good enough to make it at least on to a layout!
This is my card for the month...super simple. I had intended on adding a sentiment to the front...clearly didn't get to it. ;) I'm hoping to have more time to be creative (and have a little more mojo) next month! I haven't received my May kit yet, but I'm sure it will be awesome! Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!!
