One of my assignments as the guest for Scrapbook Circle this month was to create a layout that features this super cool washi tape from Freckled Fawn. Okay, so when I read this...I was like "DUDE." Do you remember this post? Yeah...the extent of my washi usage up until this point has basically been a strip here or there to adhere a photo...but I was supposed to use it in a "creative" way. YIKES. After a lot of debate, I decided to use the washi to create a custom frame for my layout. Of course, only after I put it all together did I realize that because it wasn't a square it wouldn't match up perfectly at the corners. Silly me. {Insert obligatory self-deprecating comment about this is why I'm not a math teacher...} I did a little trimming, and it all looked okay in the end! Here is my layout...and you can see the rest of the post from the Scrapbook Circle blog here.
Thanks for stopping by! :)
